Anne-Margaret Redding' s striking vocal flexibility and heart-wrenching lyrics come to the forefront in her most recent work and at once define a style that is melodic and mesmerizing. From the delicate whisper of "The One I Wanted", all-out wailing in " I'm Gonna Cry" to the crooked-smile satire of the hook-laden song "Boy Like You" , Anne-Margaret is always on point. Add to this her obviously intimate relationship with her piano, while backed by an organic ensemble of musicians that seem to live comfortably in the back-pocket of her well-worn jeans, and the musical backdrop becomes crystal clear: this is her band.

Perhaps most reflective of Anne-Margaret's grass-roots approach is the fact that she has remained completely an independent artist and entrepreneur. In addition to recording two full-length CD's with producer Eric Enjem here in NYC, she has completed several self-promoted tours across the East and Midwest. These tours have included smaller venue acoustic performances as well as various High-schools and Universities.

In collaboration with her musical efforts, she has developed a complimentary element to her high-school and college performances that include a keynote speaking presentation about leadership entitled 'Live your Passion'. And THAT she does. Among performing, songwriting, keynote speaking, and teaching yoga, Anne-Margaret has found ways to self-finance her endeavors and truly become the new model of today's hard-working independent artist.

AMR' s musical journey began at age four by studying classical piano, and she continued the study for sixteen years. At age seventeen, she left her hometown of Littleton, Colorado at the base of the Rocky Mountains to perform and study voice, dance, and theatre on a professional level.

Looking beyond her years of development as an independent artist, Anne-Margaret's musical goals call for a larger audience. For this, she would like to bring additional members to the team.
